Carol Everett is the founder and president of The Heidi Group.

Everett had an abortion herself shortly after the Roe v. Wade decision in 1973, and spent years promoting and selling abortion to other women in four abortion facilities in Dallas/Fort Worth.

Following a conversion experience in 1983, Everett began using her experiences and faith to connect women with life-affirming alternatives to abortion. She founded The Heidi Group in 1995. She has also assisted the pro-life movement by sharing information on the day-to-day operations of abortion facilities and by offering expert testimony in courts, 33 State Legislatures, and in Congress.

Today, in addition to working directly with women and families, The Heidi Group works with a network of life-affirming non-profits across Texas and the nation offering expertise in media, fundraising and strategic planning.

Everett has shared her testimony on national TV programs with Matt and Laurie Crouch of Trinity Broadcasting Network, Dr. James Dobson of Focus on the Family, Point of View, Truths that Transform and Pat Robertson of the 700 Club, to name a few.

Her transformation from hardened abortion provider to loving pro-life advocate is detailed in the book, Blood Money – Getting Rich off a Woman’s Right to Choose.
