Wear Blue This Saturday

Pro-life Texans, the Texas Rally for Life is quickly approaching. Many of you may remember how we wore blue this past summer as thousands came to the Texas Capitol to #Stand4Life. We are asking pro-lifers to wear blue once again. As we rally this year, let us not only commemorate the 41st anniversary of Roe v. Wade, but lets celebrate the enormous victory of the 83rd(3) Legislature, and the victories to come. Bring your church, bring your family, bring your friends, bring your blue. This year, we will not only rally to show the media and elected officials that Texas is pro-life, instead we rally to show the world that out generation will end abortion.

“41 Years of Roe v. Wade”

We are so excited to share with you our brand new video, “41 Years of Roe v. Wade.” This video takes us back to 41 years ago, when the United States Supreme Court struck down a Texas law that protected the unborn.

Since 1973, Roe v. Wade has kept abortion legal in the United States, but this short video portrays the progress the pro-life movement has made in the fight to protect life. Join the fight. Join the movement. Join us on Saturday, January 25th from 1-3pm as we rally on the South Steps of the Capitol to show the world that we are not finished. Roe v. Wade began in Texas, and Texas is determined to end abortion.

Keynote Speaker – Attorney General Greg Abbott

We are proud to announce the keynote speaker for the 2014 Texas Rally for Life, Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott!  General Abbott has a long historical record of defending life in the great state of Texas. Greg Abbott has successfully defended numerous pro-life Texas laws, including the Sonogram Law, and the law defunding Planned Parenthood, and is currently defending House Bill 2 in Federal Court. 2014 Texas Rally for Life

Join thousands of Texans at the Texas Rally for Life on Saturday, January 25, at the Capitol in Austin. Show the media and our elected officials that Texas is PRO-LIFE! The 2014 Texas Rally for Life will commemorate the 41st anniversary of the tragic Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision in 1973, which made abortion legal throughout all nine months of pregnancy. In the wake of Roe, legal abortion in our nation has claimed the lives of close to 58 million unborn children and has hurt countless women and men.

The Rally will feature pro-life speakers and leaders from across the state.

Stand up for the more than 72,000 unborn babies who will lose their lives in Texas this year unless we act now.

Your presence will reaffirm recent pro-life gains, including passage of House Bill 2; as well as the passage and upholding of the Sonogram Bill, the strongest in the nation; the defunding of Planned Parenthood by as much as $29 million per year; and the creation of the Choose Life license plate to promote infant adoption.

Also, you will help promote other greatly needed pro-life bills in the Texas Legislature, including  a bill to increase the right of parents to protect their minor daughters from abortion by reforming the judicial bypass.

Plan to attend. Organize a bus or carpool of people from your church, youth group,  or local pro-life organization to come. Individual signs will be provided, but bring a banner from your church, youth group, or pro-life organization.
